Preschool Program
Our Preschool program is separated into different age groups. The children learn along side other children of the same age. Our teachers have a consistent schedule which helps the children adjust to a routine.
Every week has a theme which is applicable to everyday aspects of the world. For example, our children learn about dinosaurs, ocean creatures, solar system, weather, and holidays. This allows the children to be exposed to different parts of the world.
Two years: On a daily basis, our teachers review months and days of the year. Also numbers, shapes, colors, the Pledge of Allegiance, songs, books, cooking, the use of scissors, paint, or glue independently, and many other age appropriate skills.
Three years: The three year old class does more involved learning. As well as the activities listed above, they learn word recognition, tracing, writing names, sorting and matching. As with the two year olds, the three year olds participate in more age appropriate activities to stimulate their academic and social skills.
Four years: Our four year olds focus on independent skills. In addition to the activities listed above, the children learn to tie their shoes, alphabet writing, sounds, and memorization.
Five years: Our five year old class is where the children learn the requirements they will need to enter kindergarten. For example, the child’s birthday, how to write and spell their name correctly, and various other physical and cognitive skills.
